Mark Kent discusses CAC Florida Medical Center’s One-Stop Care Model

Mark Kent, Regional President of Humana, discusses CAC Florida Medical Center‘s one-stop care model and the benefit of these versatile clinics.

“The model originated in Cuba, so CAC stands for Clínica Asociación Cubana.  It’s a one-stop model where everything that you need is taken care of at that time, or in that space.  We offer 15 different specialties that happen in-house, so aside from coming to see your primary care physician, you can see your specialist in-house. You can receive your medications.  There are physician dispensing units in-house. There is dental. There are a number of other services provided in house for the patient.  You can get everything taken care of within those walls, so as we provide transportation to the medical center per the health plan benefit, then once you arrive, everything else you that need around your medical appointment or medical services is taken care of, and is basically taken care of that day.”
