Mark Kent on CAC Florida Medical Center: A Holistic Approach to Care

Mark Kent, Regional President of Humana, discusses CAC Florida Medical Center‘s holistic approach to care.

“CAC Florida Medical Centers is a holistic approach to healthcare. It’s a focus on socialized wellbeing, prevention, and disease management. What’s awesome I would say about CAC Florida Medical Centers is that we seek to really engage the patient in their healthcare. Versus speaking at you, it’s more of an engagement with you, whether it’s the patient, the family, the caregiver, loved ones, etcetera. We really wrap ourselves around the patient, so what you can expect when you come to CAC Florida Medical Centers is that it’s a very family atmosphere, but it’s one about empowerment and engagement to understand disease, particularly a disease state the patient may have, but also the prevention of disease and staying healthy.”
