Miami Herald Business Monday Column, MIAMI.  This week Miami Herald’s Business Monday featured Mark Kent in their ‘Mover’s spotlight’ column.

Miami Herald talks about his experience, his new position with Humana, and his achievements.

“Achievement: Under Kent’s leadership, CAC has grown to 19 full-service, multi-specialty medical centers, expanding its South Florida presence into Broward County, opening two new centers in Tampa and increasing its Orlando footprint to three centers.”

Mark then reveals the best advice he has received, which was from his grandfather.

“The best advice was from my grandfather, given to him by his father: ‘Any day the sun rises and sets in which you haven’t done something positive to move the ball forward for yourself, your family, or your community, you’ve wasted a day!’ In other words, always strive to get better by working hard, every day!”

Mark Kent had an article about ‘Patient Care First’ in Legacy Health Care in December 2013. Read it here.
